Nex Gen Pastor Tommy Turpin

Thomas “Tommy T” Turpin serves as the Next Generation Pastor at Mt Olivet Baptist Church and as Director of Advancement and Development at Changed Lives Ministry. After experiencing the transforming power of Jesus Christ in his own life, Tommy has dedicated his ministry to preaching God’s Word, making disciples, reaching the lost, and raising up the next generation to boldly follow Christ.

Tommy is married to his beautiful wife, Jill, and together they have a blended family of four boys. His love for his family and his desire to see the next generation faithfully follow Christ are central to his ministry.

At MOBC, Tommy emphasizes preaching and teaching the Bible with clarity and passion, always pointing others to the hope of the gospel. He models a life of prayer, urging the next generation to depend on God daily. And with a heart on fire for evangelism, he continually challenges students and families to take the good news of Jesus outside the walls of the church—into schools, neighborhoods, and beyond.

In addition to serving as our Nex Gen Pastor, He is also a guest preacher and speaker, an FCA volunteer, serves on the Screven Baptist Association Administrative Team, and serves as a Prayer Pastor on WKCL Christian Radio.

Tommy’s heartbeat is simple: preach the Word, pray with faith, make disciples, reach the lost, and make Jesus known.
