Lead Pastor Caleb Kennedy

Caleb Kennedy serves as the Lead pastor of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, where he is passionate about faithfully preaching God’s Word, making disciples, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. He also serves as the Executive Director of Changed Lives Ministry, where he is committed to seeing lives transformed through the Gospel, biblical truth, and Christ-centered discipleship.

Caleb’s calling to ministry grew out of his own experience of God’s transforming grace. On October 28, 2017, Caleb entered Changed Lives Ministry as a resident, beginning a journey of recovery and discipleship centered on prayer, Scripture, and the Gospel. Eight weeks into the program, he sensed God calling him into ministry. After graduating in January 2018, Caleb remained with Changed Lives Ministry as a staff member and eventually served as the organization’s Men’s Ministry Director.

Caleb’s testimony continues to shape his heart for the local church. Having experienced the freedom and restoration found in Jesus Christ, he desires to help others know Christ, make Him known, and grow as His disciples. He has a particular passion for biblical counseling and helping people apply the truth of Scripture to the challenges of everyday life. He believes the local church is called to be a place where people encounter the truth of the Gospel, grow in their faith, serve others, and live on mission for Christ.

Caleb is happily married to his wife, Brittany, and together they have three children. As a family, they enjoy spending time going to the beach, watching movies, and serving the Lord together.

Whether preaching from the pulpit, discipling believers, counseling someone through a difficult season, or serving alongside the church family, Caleb’s desire remains the same: to faithfully proclaim the Gospel, help people know Christ, make Him known, and make disciples for His glory.
